Enamel is a glass-like material that is applied in one or more layers to another material such as metal, aluminum or cast iron. The material was already in use in the first millennium BC. known. In the past it has been widely used on jewelry and large metal objects.
The product is composed exclusively of minerals. This is where the difference lies with paint, lacquer, varnish, plastic, etc. For many years now, many water boards have been installing enamel level scales to read the water levels. Level gauges are known for their long lifespan and are maintenance-free for a long time. Moreover, even under the toughest conditions, enamel hardly loses color or shine.
Level scales are widely used in canals, rivers, weirs, locks, lakes and ponds. The highly modernized water boards cannot do without these water level scales, because they are still very good control points for water levels in large parts of Europe.
Despite constantly changing water levels, enamel does not absorb much dirt. Naturally, the lifespan is not unlimited and we are happy to assist you in the event of replacement. This makes it easy for the water boards to indicate which level scales are required.
We use an automated program for this and always confirm the order with a PDF file (technical drawing). Naturally, various sizes and designs are possible, including placing your logo on the head of the gauge. If you want to outsource the installation of the level scale, we will be happy to make you a suitable quotation.
The well-known standard solution is the color blue (RAL 5022) with white stripes, numbers and letters (RAL 9010). Level range is 1.13 meters, namely 1 meter for level management and 13 cm. for the logo.
These gauges are of course sustainably manufactured and produced in a CO2 neutral manner.
